  • The Netherlands: Guests ages 12 and up must complete a health form that can be found here.

If this is not completed, it will cause delays at the terminal. Health Protocols and Requirements

Vaccines

In order to sail on a Transatlantic crossing with us, we will require all guests to be fully vaccinated with all doses administered at least 14 days prior to sailing with WHO- or EMA-approved vaccines. COVID-19 Booster Vaccine shots are not currently required to sail on Celebrity Cruises but are highly recommended to avoid additional onboard testing required by different ports of call during the sailing.

WHO and EME Approved Vaccines:

Guests with a mixed series of any two of the following vaccines taken within a minimum of 28 days between doses, will also be considered fully vaccinated: Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sinopharm, or Covaxin. Guests who have received one dose of a vaccine (other than Johnson & Johnson) will not be considered fully vaccinated.

Please plan to present documentation of full vaccination at the terminal as a condition for boarding.

Guests who are either more than 270 days from their final vaccine dose OR have not been boosted will be subject to additional testing onboard at their expense. These tests will cost $55 per person, per test.

Testing Requirements

Pre-Arrival Covid-19 Testing

Our boarding requirements include that all guests present at embarkation a negative COVID-19 test result, either an Antigen or PCR test, conducted within two days* of boarding the ship. Pre-arrival testing must be completed by an authorized provider at your own expense.

*For itineraries that have a port of call in Spain OR that end in Spain, the pre-arrival test must be taken within one day of sailing, regardless of homeport.

Guests who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may present a Certificate of Recovery and proof of the positive PCR test result taken between 11-90 days prior to the sail date in order to board. In addition, a vaccination card must also be presented.  We will not accept a Certificate of Recovery in place of a vaccination record.

Additionally, please be aware that some ports of call do not accept a Certificate of Recovery for the purposes of debarking and enjoying the destination. For more details, please visit our FAQs.

Mid-Cruise/Port of Call

  • If you are fully vaccinated and either within 270 days of your final primary dose OR Boosted, no additional testing is required. The 270 days must extend to the final day of the cruise.
  • If you are fully vaccinated but NOT within 270 days of your final primary dose OR boosted, you will be subject to additional testing during the sailing at your own expense. These tests will cost $55 per test, per person. Depending upon your sailing’s itinerary, multiple mid-cruise tests may be required based on the destinations visited. For more details, please refer to the destination testing advisory chart.

Debark

  • If you will be debarking in Amsterdam, Spain or Italy and you are:
    • Fully vaccinated and either within 270 days of your final primary dose OR Boosted – no debark testing is required. The 270 days must extend to the final day of the cruise.
  • Fully vaccinated but NOT within 270 days of your final primary dose OR Boosted – you will be required to take an antigen test onboard at your expense and test negative prior to exiting the terminal in order to enter the country. These tests will cost $55 per test, per person.
  • If you will be debarking in any other country, being fully vaccinated will suffice and no further testing is required in order to debark the ship.

Re-Entry (to home country)

We will either provide antigen testing at the Terminal upon disembarkation or eMED Test Kits for purchase for all U.S. guests* at debark to satisfy the U.S. re-entry test.  eMED Test Kits have telehealth capabilities in order to leverage a quick and convenient home travel test. Any other nationalities, please check your country's re-entry requirements for specific testing information.

*Proof of a United States address is required to utilize these test kits.

While On Board

Effective February 25, 2022, face masks will be optional onboard for all vaccinated guests. Celebrity Cruises follows the requirements in all destinations we sail, and please note that mask requirements may vary by the destinations visited on your sailing and/or disembarkation port. This policy is re-evaluated on a continuous basis and any updates will be shared with our guests.

Excursions & Going Ashore

To minimize COVID-19-related health risks to you, our crew members, and the communities we visit, we monitor the ports of call on your itinerary regularly. We consider several factors when determining if it's safe to leave the ship and go ashore – the prevalence of COVID-19 in the area, whether testing is available, and how easy it is for the locals to get vaccinated

Guests that do not meet the testing and health screening policy requirements will be denied boarding.
