Your morning tour concludes with a traditional pub lunch in central London, where you can savor traditional British fare, like scotched eggs, steak, and kidney pudding, or fish and chips, then wash it all down with a delicious English ale. After, you can return to the hotel to relax and plan the rest of your day in London.
Your second day in this exciting city calls for a night on the town. Explore London’s evening offerings with a spectacular show in the West End. Start your third day in London with a complimentary breakfast before departing for the Cotswolds Countryside and Bath tour. The Cotswolds are considered by many to be among the most beautiful areas in England. This region is well-known around the world for the beauty of its towns and villages, from modest cottages and imposing manor houses to impressive churches, all built in mellow stone. You’ll enjoy some of the finest English landscapes, with rolling hills and tree-lined valleys during the morning part of your tour.
The afternoon part of your tour begins with a visit to Bath. According to legend, the town of Bath owes its origins to the Celtic King Bladud, who discovered the curative properties of its natural hot springs in 860 B.C. The Romans later built baths around these natural springs. You’ll learn about the fascinating history surrounding the baths, the skillful Roman engineering that eventually transformed the springs into a destination visited by Queen Ann in 1702 – 03 A.D., and into the enduring landmark that it is today. Following your visit to the Baths, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant.
Once you’ve returned to your hotel, you can make plans for a fun last night in this incredible city. However, please note that depending on traffic, the Cotswold Countryside and Bath tour may run late. So, we recommend not booking any theater tickets for this evening.
