What is Camp at Sea, how are the age groups split up onboard, and what programs are there for Teens?
The Camp at Sea program is for ages 3-12 and activities are divided up according to three age groups. Shipmates (Ages 3-5), Cadets (Ages 6-9), and Captains (Ages 10 -12). Teenagers have their own separate Teen Program and dedicated Club for ages 13-17. Please note at this time, Celebrity Solstice no longer has a dedicated Teen facility but will still have Teen Programming available onboard in other venues. Additionally, Camp at Sea and Teen Programming is only offered on our Ocean Ships; Celebrity Flora and the Celebrity River fleet do not have dedicated youth or teen programming offered onboard.
What are the hours of the children’s facilities?
The Camp at Sea is open for Complimentary Sessions daily on both port and sea days. Additionally, we offer a Late-Night Service from 10:00pm - 1:00am which may be purchased on the app pre-cruise and also onboard for a fee per hour per child. Teen programming hours vary by ship, itinerary and time of year.
Does Celebrity Cruises offer any Babysitting Services?
No. Celebrity does not offer babysitting services or any in-room services for children. All child care offerings onboard are scheduled and held in the Camp at Sea facilities.
What is the minimum age for infants on board?
Infants must be at least 6 months old on the first day of the cruise to sail. While babies are welcome onboard, at this time Celebrity does not offer a nursery, or any drop off services for children under the age of 3. Our Camp at Sea program is only for ages 3-12 only, and all children must be fully potty trained. Additionally please note that some shore excursions and activities onboard require infants to be at least 12 months old.
Are there any restrictions governing when children can come and go on their own?
Children ages 3-9 must be signed in and out of the Celebrity Youth Program. Children ages 10-12 are free to come and go as they please but are required to sign themselves in and out of the youth facilities. Teens ages 13-17 may come and go as they please.
Are extra hour services available everyday?
Yes, extra hours for lunch and dinner are offered when the ship is docked at port and late night hours are offered everyday.
