Welcome aboard the Celebrity Eclipse® for your 15-Night Chile to San Diego Cruise. Before we depart we have some important information to share with you.
In the past two weeks, tourists of South America who have consumed water from local souces, have reported an increase in gastro-intestinal virus symptoms. We highly recommend that guests only drink beverages that have been purchased in sealed bottles or cans. Guests should also be cautious when choosing dining venues ashore as local cuisine may also have been prepared with unbottled water sources.
In the unlikely event that you experience gastro-intestinal symptoms, including nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, during the course of the voyage, we encourage you to seek immediate medical attention by visiting our medical facilities onboard.
Thank you for your attention to these reminders. We look forward to providing you an enjoyable vacation.
Zika was previously found in the locations on the list, but scientists have determined the virus is no longer present. This means all travelers, including pregnant women, can visit these destinations with no known risk of getting Zika from mosquitoes. If Zika returns to a country or territory on the list, CDC will remove it from the list and post updated information. Check this page for the most up-to-date information before making travel plans.
