Go to SiteThese terms and conditions apply to the Celebrity Cruises prize draw to win a 7-night cruise to Italy & French Riviera on Celebrity Ascent, departing in June 2025 in a twin-share balcony stateroom.
1. Promoter
The Promoter is RCL Cruises Ltd (trading as Celebrity Cruises), with company number 07366612 and with registered office address at 7 The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0XW (the “Promoter”).
2. The Prize (“Prize”)
2.1 The winner will receive a 1x 7-night cruise on Celebrity Ascent in a twin-share balcony stateroom departing in June 2025. The Prize sailing date be determined by the Promoter and advised to the winner on or before 23rd December 2024. The Prize will include:
2.2 The Prize excludes any drinks packages, internet packages, speciality dining, shore excursions, travel insurance, and other chargeable amenities available on board the ship and any other personal expenses.
3. Entry Period
The prize draw entry period commences at 09:00hrs GMT on 13th November 2024 and concludes at 23.59hrs GMT on 25th November 2024 (the “Closing Date”).
4. Entry
4.1 This prize draw is open to residents of the UK only, aged 18 or over. Proof of eligibility must be provided upon request. To qualify for an entry into the prize draw, entrants must scan a QR code (which will be provided on the screen at the venue) and complete the dedicated prize draw form.
4.2 Employees of RCL Cruises Ltd and/or any of its Group Companies, subsidiaries, affiliates (including any relatives, family members and/or household members) and anyone else professionally associated with this prize draw are expressly excluded from entering.
4.3 Only one entry per entrant will be accepted. Multiple email addresses for the same person will not be permitted or accepted.
4.4 Entries must be received before the Closing Date. Late, incomplete, invalid and/or corrupt submissions will not be accepted and will be disqualified. No responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for lost entries and proof of transmission will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
5. Selection of Winner
5.1 The winner will be chosen at random from valid entries received before the Closing Date and the winner will be contacted via the email (to the email provided as part of their entry) within 28 days of the completed draw. The winning email notification will include instructions on how/by when the winner is to claim their Prize and provide passenger details, where applicable. Failure to claim and/or provide such details within the required time frame may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
5.2 In the event that the winner declines the Prize, and/or is unable to take the Prize, and/or fails to respond to the Promoter’s email(s) within the required time frame and/or does not receive the Promoter’s email for whatever reason, and/or does not respond to the Promoter’s email in the prescribed manner, and/or does not claim/take the Prize, and/or is ineligible or otherwise unable to claim the Prize, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter shall have no liability to the winner and reserves the right in its absolute and sole discretion to select another winner.
6. Travel and Health Requirements
6.1 The winner and, where applicable, their travel companions, will be responsible for ensuring and checking that they (i) hold any and all documentation required in order to travel including, without limitation, ensuring that they are in possession of valid passports with an expiry date no earlier than six months after the completion of the Prize cruise and apply and/or have any visas and/or other permits required for travel; and (ii) have adequate and comprehensive travel insurance (evidence of which shall be provided to the Promoter if requested); and (iii) comply with any and all health and other requirements for travel including, without limitation, any required vaccinations, heath certifications and/or permits.
6.2 Prior to departure, the winner is required to check, without limitation, the Celebrity Cruises website, the FCDO travel advice website and the equivalent country websites of the countries being visited as part of the cruise, for the latest advice and information about travel documentation, procedures, facilities, policies, health and safety information and vaccination & health requirements.
6.3 Health and safety protocols, guest conduct rules and regional travel restrictions may vary by ship and destination – and are subject to change without notice. Due to changing health protocols onboard and in destination, experiences, offerings, features and/or itineraries may be subject to change at any time and may vary by ship and/or destination.
6.4 Celebrity Cruises do not allow anyone in their 24th week of pregnancy (or beyond) to sail.
7. General terms and conditions
7.1 By entering this prize draw entrants are considered to have agreed, without limitation, to these terms and conditions and Celebrity Cruises’ Booking Conditions https://www.celebritycruises.com/guest-terms/united-kingdom-english/ conditions of carriage and privacy policy https://www.celebritycruises.com/gb/privacy-policy.
7.2 The Prize is subject to these terms and conditions and the Promoter reserves the right, to amend and/or update, without limitation, these terms and conditions and/or the Celebrity Cruises’ Booking Conditions, conditions of carriage and/or privacy policy(ies) at any time.
7.3 The winner must submit all the necessary information in the manner prescribed and by the dates prescribed, to be entitled to claim their Prize. Failure to provide such information shall entitle the Promoter to withdraw the Prize and select another winner.
7.4 The fulfilment of the Prize will be managed by the Promoter.
7.5 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:
(i) cancel, suspend and/or modify this prize draw, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, a change in applicable law or any other factor beyond the Promoter's reasonable control impairs the integrity and/or proper functioning of this prize draw;
(ii) reject any entries and/or disqualify any entrants, at any time, if the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion deems that there has been or may be, whether intended or otherwise, any: (a) breach of any of these terms and conditions; and/or (b) infringement or potential infringement of any third party rights and/or intellectual property; and/or (c) defamation or potential defamation of any persons, companies, intellectual property, institutions, cultures or similar; and/or (d) offence or potential offence caused, howsoever arising; and/or (e) breach of any laws, regulations, codes (including moral codes), uses, guidelines and/or any other generally accepted etiquette rules required (without limitation) from any internet users, platforms, providers, hosts and/or sites and/or similar.
7.6 The Prize is as described, is not transferable, cannot be amended or varied, has no cash value (and cannot be exchanged for cash) and cannot be re-sold.
7.7 The Promoter reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to change the Prize and/or substitute any or all of the Prize with an alternative Prize [of equivalent value].
7.8 The winner may be required to take part in publicity resulting from this prize draw. The Promoter (and its Group Companies) shall be entitled to make use, in any way and/or through any medium, of any comments provided and/or made by the winner including, without limitation, those provided by the winner on any social media sites and/or Celebrity owned marketing channels (including the Celebrity Cruises website), for the benefit of promoting the Promoter and its Group and/or associated companies, subject to the applicable policies of the relevant social media sites and/or marketing channels.
7.9 The determination and decision of the Promoter on all matters shall be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into (including as to the winner).
7.10 The Promoter reserves the right in its reasonable discretion to: (i) disqualify any entrant, claimant, competitor or their guest whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the prize draw and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct; (ii) declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including without limitation any error(s) on any website and/or app of the Promoter and/or in any published materials, regardless of format) and/or where there have been error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the prize draw that materially affects the result of the prize draw and/or the number of entrants, claimants and/or the value of claims; (iii) add to or waiver any rules and/or terms and conditions at any time; and/or (iv) cancel the prize draw or any part of it, at any stage, in the event of circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
7.11 Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its employees, agents, subcontractors and/or or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable for: (i) any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), damage, cost, compensation and/or other expense which is suffered and/or sustained by any party (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this prize draw and/or in accepting and/or using the Prize [and/or its contents and/or their ingredients]; and/or (ii) any personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up/accepting the Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter and/or , its employees and, where it is responsible for them, its agents and/or distributors. The winner’s statutory rights shall not be affected.
7.12 The winner shall be liable for complying with any fiscal and/or tax requirements (including, without limitation, any benefit-in-kind declarations and/or calculations) and other legal obligations and/or requirements arising out of, or in connection with, the Prize.
7.13 This prize draw shall be subject to English law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
8. Personal Data
8.1 Any personal information and/or data provided during the entry process (including, without limitation, the entrant’s name) must be valid, up to date and truthful. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any incorrect, false, or fictitious personal information provided to it.
8.2 The Promoter shall use the entrants’ personal data (Name, email, phone number) for the purpose of administering and/or promoting this prize draw. If entrants wish to receive marketing information from the Promoter, they can opt-in on the Promoter’s website and can opt-out at any time by writing to the Promoter at the address below, or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message received. 8.3 By entering this prize draw, each entrant is providing information to the Promoter who undertakes to process such entrant’s personal details in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation which shall mean in each case to the extent applicable to activities undertaken in connection with the prize draw: (i) Regulation (EU) 2016/679; and (ii) UK GDPR (the “GDPR”) the GDPR as applicable as part of UK domestic law by virtue of section 3 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 and as amended by the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 (as amended, Directive 2002/58/EC and any other legislation and/or regulation implementing or made pursuant to them, or which amends, replaces, re-enacts or consolidates any of them, and all other applicable laws relating to processing of personal data, data protection and privacy that may exist in any relevant jurisdiction, including, where applicable, the guidance and codes of practice issued by supervisory authorities.
8.4 Subject to Celebrity Cruises’ privacy policy and these terms and conditions, the winner’s title, surname and county: (i) may be announced on the Celebrity Cruises Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram accounts, as well as on its blog and in other marketing material for a period of 6 months following the announcement of the winner of the prize draw; and (ii) can be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the Marketing Department, Celebrity Cruises, 7 The Heights, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 0XW, within 30 days of the Closing Date.
