Travel requirements vary by homeport country. Be sure you’re aware of both homeport country and Celebrity Cruises vaccine and testing requirements as they may differ. We will continually evaluate and update these requirements and protocols as new information becomes available. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements leading up to departure.
Only residents of England, Scotland, Wales, The Channel Islands and Northern Ireland are permitted to sail at this time. Guests aged 18 years and older must be fully vaccinated with all Covid-19 vaccine doses administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. Proof of vaccination will be required. All Crew members onboard will be vaccinated.
How To Show Your Vaccination Status
Guests must show their vaccination status via the NHS app on their phone when they arrive at the pier.
For guests who live in areas where an NHS APP isn’t yet enabled – guests have two options for showing their vaccination status. Either one of the two options below will be sufficient:
By showing a vaccination certificate
By showing a signed doctor's letter
The certificate or doctors' letter must show the dates of the 2 vaccinations which must be administered at least 14 days prior to the cruise departure date. A printout or a digital copy will be accepted.
Vaccinated guests will also require proof of a negative PCR test taken 24 to 72 hours before the time of sailing. Guests aged 3-17 years will need to take an antigen test, at the terminal prior to embarkation. The PCR and antigen tests required will be at the expense of Celebrity Cruises. PCR testing instructions will be provided via email in advance of sailing. Any additional testing or protocols will be confirmed nearer to the point of sailing in line with the most up to date recommendations of the UK government and our Healthy Sail Panel. Children aged 2 years and younger are not required to do the antigen test.
Celebrity Cruises has developed a rich selection of curated shore excursions, working with local tour operators to ensure that they are not only enriching and inspiring, but also that they follow local government health protocols. The selection of excursions offers a wide variety for all interests. We anticipate that guests will be permitted to debark Celebrity Silhouette in ports of call where there are no restrictions put in place by port authorities or local government. If and where local restrictions are in place, Celebrity Cruises will only allow guests who have booked a curated shore excursion to leave the ship to ensure we adhere to the protocols they have defined.
Face masks will be required for all guests 11 years and above. Masks must be worn whilst indoors but will not be required whilst drinking or eating or whilst outside.
Guests that do not meet the testing and health screening policy requirements will be denied boarding.
