You can download the Celebrity Cruises® app at no charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and use the app for free onboard. No Wi-Fi package is needed to use the app.

When can I download the Celebrity Cruises® app?

We suggest downloading prior to your sail day, so you can check out everything that’s available on your ship before you even board, but you can also download the app for free once onboard.

How do I download the Celebrity Cruises® app and log in pre-cruise?

A.

You can download the Celebrity Cruises® app at no charge from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Then launch it and sign in using your guest account credentials. If you don’t have an account, you can create one right in the app.

How do I download the Celebrity Cruises® app onboard?

A.

It’s easy:

1. Connect to the celebrity-wifi network.

2. Open a browser and type “login.com”’ to get to our home page.

3. Tap the App Store icon (for iOS devices) or Google Play icon (for Android devices) to install the app

Do I have to purchase an Internet package to use the Celebrity Cruises® app onboard?

A.

No Internet package is required. You can use the app onboard at no cost by connecting to the celebrity-wifi network. If you want to go to websites or use social media, you’ll need an Internet package.

How do I check in for my cruise?

A.

The quickest way is to use the Celebrity Cruises® app, available between 90 days and three days before your sail day. Just sign in, select your cruise, and tap on the check-in button. Make sure you take your security photo and add your passport or travel documents for the fastest boarding experience on your sail day.

Do I need an account to check in?

A.

You do, and if you don’t have one, you can create one on the Celebrity Cruises® app in a few simple steps.

Once you have your account, sign in, select your cruise, and take advantage of the quickest check-in experience.

If I check in online can I view my Xpress Pass on the mobile app?

A.

Yes, so there is no need to print one out on sail day. Your mobile Xpress Pass is accessible via your account.

Can I add my boarding pass to Apple Wallet, Samsung Pay, or Google Wallet?

A.

Not yet, but we’re working on it, and it will be available soon.

How can I make changes to my check-in information after I've checked in?

A.

Once you’ve checked in on the app, you can’t change information there. Make check-in information changes by signing into your account at Celebrity.com at least three days prior to sailing or at the terminal on your sail day.

Can more than one guest check in at a time on the Celebrity Cruises app?

A.

For check-in, it’s one guest on the reservation at a time.

Q.

How do I check in children on another reservation using the Celebrity Cruises app?

A.

Link your reservation to the child’s reservation on the app - you’ll need the child’s name, reservation number, and stateroom number - and then complete check-in for the child.

What languages are available for check-in?

A.

Check-in on the mobile app is available in English, while Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, French, Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish are available on Celebrity.com.

How far in advance can I check in on the Celebrity cruises app?

You can check in on the mobile app between 90 days and three days before your sail day. Once you’re outside that window, you can check in at the terminal on your sail day.

How do I change my onboard expense account payment method?

A.

In the Celebrity Cruises® app, you can select your payment method during check-in. After check-in, you can change the payment method at the check-in counter on your sail day or onboard at Guest Relations.

At the Terminal/Expedited Arrival:

What is Expedited Arrival and how does it work?

A.

Expedited Arrival is the quickest way to check in before you sail and board the ship on your sail day. To qualify, check in on the Celebrity Cruises® app, making sure to add your security photo and passport.

On your sail day, make sure you bring your passport and travel documents, and look for the Expedited Arrival lane at the terminal. After a quick documents check, you can walk right onto the ship and get your cruise vacation started.

How do I know when to get to the terminal?

A.

One of the benefits of checking in on the mobile app is your Xpress Pass, which has your arrival time and is available right in the app. Look for the Xpress Pass button after completing check-in.

Q.

I completed check-in via the app, but I don't see "Expedited Arrival" on my mobile Xpress Pass. What did I do wrong?

A.

Almost everyone who checks in on the Celebrity Cruises® app qualifies for Expedited Arrival, but there are a few exceptions. If you don’t see Expedited Arrival on your Xpress Pass, it’s nothing to worry about. Just bring your passport and travel documents to the terminal on sail day, and we’ll make sure to get you onboard quickly so you can start your cruise vacation.

Q.

What happens when not all guests in a reservation qualify for the Expedited Arrival program?

A.

One is enough when it comes to Expedited Arrival. If one person on your reservation has an Xpress Pass marked Expedited Arrival, everyone on the reservation can board via the Expedited Arrival lane.

Q.

What happens if my battery dies on my mobile device at the pier so I can't access my Xpress Pass?

A.

You could always ask if a fellow cruise guest will give you a quick charge. If not, our check-in counter staff at the terminal will be happy to look up your reservation. (P.S. Remember to bring your phone charger.)

Q.

Do I have to scroll all the way down to the end of the Cruise Ticket Contract before I can accept it?

A.

Not when you’re checking in on the Celebrity Cruises® app. Just tap the box by the contract and you’re done.

Q.

Do I have an option to upload a photo from their mobile device in addition to taking a photo?

A.

The choice is yours - either take one with your phone during check-in or browse to a photo saved to your device.

Q.

Are there any specifications/restrictions/requirements for the type of picture I can take when I check in on the app?

A.

Just follow the guidelines you’ll see when you’re checking in: No hats, no angle shots, no closing your eyes, nobody else in the photo, and smile. (That last one is just a suggestion.)

Can I find visa requirements for my cruise on the Celebrity Cruises app?

A.

Not yet, but that information is available on the Celebrity Cruises website.

Q.

What do I have to know about scanning my passport during mobile app check-in?

A.

It’s simple. Just follow the guides you see during the check-in process. You’ll see when your passport has been scanned and accepted.

Q.

If I don’t know my loyalty number, can I look it up in the Celebrity Cruises® app?

A.

If your loyalty number is already associated with your account, it’s available in the app, and you’ll be able to find it in a couple of taps.

Can any guest check in on the app, regardless of travel document requirements?

A.

Yes. If you have a reservation, you can check in on the Celebrity Cruises® app.

Q.

How do I know which fields are mandatory when checking in on the app?

A.

If you skip a field required for check-in, you’ll see a message asking you to provide information for that field when you try to continue to the next screen.

Every single one of them. Once you’re signed into your account, all of your reservations display on the app.

Where can I find information on a certain voyage day’s information and activities?

A.

Want to get an early start on your cruise plans? We don’t blame you. You can find out information about your cruise in the Celebrity Cruises® app by browsing to and selecting a reservation, and then tapping the ship icon or calendar icon at the top of the screen.

Activities start coming together a couple of weeks before your cruise, so check back as your voyage nears.

Q.

Do you have deck maps on the app?

A.

We do. Every activity in the Daily Planner has a deck location, and tapping on it shows you where it is. You can also access deck maps by tapping the ship that displays above activity categories.

Q.

Can I chat on the app?

A.

You can chat free of charge on all Celebrity ships that feature the app. Just remember you have to be connected to the celebrity-wifi network, and invite people to chat. When they accept, chat away.
