Our June 23 President’s Cruise to the Caribbean aboard Celebrity BeyondSM will be here before you know it, and now’s the time to talk tours. Join Celebrity President Laura Hodges Bethge and her executive team on three special outings we have planned for your day in Grand Cayman. Last year’s President’s Cruise tours all sold out before we sailed, so don’t miss out on what’s sure to be among the highlights of this very special sailing.

Lunch with President of Celebrity Cruises, Laura Hodges Bethge at the Grand Old House

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Laura Hodges Bethge and enjoy a delicious meal at one of Grand Cayman’s most historic and premium waterfront restaurants. Grand Old House is also Laura’s personal favorite place on the island, and all the menus will be curated by her—so don’t miss this one.

Catamaran Sailing with SVP of Hotel Operations Keith Lane

Turtle Release with AVP of Community & Destination, Helen OConnell*

You’ll join an intimate group and visit Predator Reef Aquarium with an on-site marine specialist before heading behind-the-scenes to the turtle hatchery for an up-close-and-personal tour of the facility. Who knows? You might even see a hatching in-progress.

If you’re not booked on the 2024 President’s Cruise, there’s still time to join us for what’s sure to be one of the sailings of the year. Last year’s President’s Cruise in Alaska sold out, so reserve your stateroom today.

Last month, the Elite Cocktail Hour Lounge returned twice per cruise on sailings 5-7 nights, and three times per cruise on sailings 8 nights or longer. It’s been wildly popular, and the member turnout has been awesome. It’s great to see members mingling, laughing, and enjoying amazing conversations with their fellow Captain’s Club members. Don’t miss the fantastic cocktails and good times on your next sailing. The only way we can make Elite Cocktail Hour any better is with you.

Celebrity became the first ocean cruise line to earn the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards in 2023—and we’re continuing to collect the accolades this year, with six of our ships receiving an official rating. Illustrating the importance of innovation and guest centric service is the addition of Celebrity AscentSM, our newest Edge Series® ship, to the Four-Star list. Our six premium ships earning Star Ratings are Celebrity Ascent, Celebrity Apex®, Celebrity Flora®, Celebrity Edge®, Celebrity Millennium®, and Celebrity Summit®.

Forbes Travel Guide is the global authority on luxury hospitality, and the only global rating system for luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and ocean cruises. Their professional inspectors travel the world anonymously, and evaluate hospitality providers based on hundreds of standards that determine their annual Star Ratings. “Celebrity embodies the modern-day ethos of elevated service, elegant facilities, and upscale dining options with the added benefit of being on the move to a variety of destinations,” said Hermann Elger, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide. “We congratulate Celebrity for its Star Award achievements.”

Celebrity Cruises President Laura Hodges Bethge was thrilled with the announcement and had this to add: “We strive to exceed all expectations for our guests seeking the best in premium vacations, from our level of elevated service, thoughtful amenities, and the highest quality of experiences both on and off our ships. We are honored to be recognized again by the only global rating system for the ocean cruise category, and we applaud our incredibly talented and dedicated Celebrity crew for another year of international recognition.”

We couldn’t have done this without you encouraging us to be bigger, better, and bolder every day. And our promise to you: We’ll never stop.

There’s nothing more romantic than spending Valentine’s Day on an incredible sailing with us. Ships are decked out and festive, and everyone has that loving feeling. It’s the month of love, and we’re thrilled to tell you about Captain’s Club member Paul Evans, and how his Celebrity vacation made that once in a lifetime moment come true for him and his son Andrew.

Paul Evans and his wife Dee of 41 years have long been part of the Celebrity family and have been cruising with us since the early 90s. A retired landscape architect from the New York State Department of Transportation, Paul recently took his wife and two sons, Andrew and Thomas, on a Celebrity cruise to the Caribbean aboard Celebrity Reflection®.

The Evans were surprised and thrilled to discover that Andrew, who had brought his girlfriend Jessica along, planned on "popping the question" to her while the family was sailing. "Where better than on a Celebrity cruise to the Caribbean! I knew the crew and staff would make it a memorable occasion," Paul shared.

It took a few days for Andrew to scout out the perfect location, and he finally picked the Sky Observation Lounge on Deck 14. "It was a place that his future bride, Jessica, had grown fond of," Paul said. After the proposal, the Celebrity family came together to make every part of this occasion exceptional for the newly engaged couple—from the Cruise Director’s announcement of the couple’s engagement at the Captain's Club welcome party and Captain Matt's party with his officers in the Sky Bar to a surprise performance by the crew at Sushi on Five. "It was very special for our family...and it made for a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our soon-to-be daughter-in-law."

With Paul and Dee expecting their first grandchild in March, the family is looking forward to their next great vacation with us—with an eye on our next groundbreaking ship, Celebrity XcelSM. And we can’t wait to welcome them all back with open arms.
