This direction applies to guests aboard Celebrity Infinity departing Fort Lauderdale, Florida November 28, 2022
Below is everything you need to know to ensure a smooth boarding process for our upcoming Transatlantic sailings. Please note that travel requirements may vary by disembarkation port and the destinations visited on your sailing. Be sure you’re aware of both homeport country and Celebrity Cruises vaccine and testing requirements as they may differ. We will continually evaluate and update these requirements and protocols as new information becomes available. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements leading up to departure.
Required Travel Documentation to Board
Proof of Vaccination is required for all guests ages 3 and older.
Negative COVID-19 Test Result from a supervised/lab test must be presented by all guests upon arrival at port.
Health Declaration to be completed exclusively on our Celebrity Cruises App via check-in.
Passport is needed for all guests with a validity of at least 6 months after their sailing’s return date.
All guests must check their Visa and ESTA requirements before traveling.
Proof of Residence may be needed for guests traveling with a passport that was issued from a country different from their country of residence.
For guests on back-to-back sailings
All back-to-back guests will only be required to take part in a complimentary COVID-19 test in port, prior to reboarding the Transatlantic or Transpacific leg of their journey.
For itineraries that have a port of call in Australia and New Zealand, there are 3 documents all guests must complete as soon as possible prior to sailing:
PLEASE NOTE: All Australian and New Zealand citizens must complete an ESTA prior to arrival to the United States for transpacific sailings. For more information and specific requirements please visit Official ESTA Application Website, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (dhs.gov). These authorizations need to be approved 72 hours prior to the sailing
In order to sail on a Transatlantic or Transpacific crossing with us, we will require all guests ages 3 and older to be fully vaccinated.
COVID-19 booster vaccine shots are not currently required to sail but are highly recommended to ensure a smoother vacation experience.
Guests are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 if 2 weeks have passed since their second dose in a 2-dose series (such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccines); or, 2 weeks after a one dose series such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine.
Vaccines approved and accepted by the TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) will be considered valid.
Guests with a mixed series of any two of the following vaccines taken within a minimum of 28 days between doses, will also be considered fully vaccinated:
Any guest who has received one dose of a vaccine (other than Johnson & Johnson/Janssen) will not be considered fully vaccinated.
Documentation of full vaccination must be provided at the terminal as a condition for boarding.
Please plan to carry your vaccination documentation with you at all times while in port should local authorities or businesses request it to help facilitate entry and/or experiences.
Pre-Arrival Covid-19 Testing
All guests ages 3 and older must present a digital or physical copy of a supervised, negative COVID-19 test result at check-in to board their sailing.
Guests must present a negative antigen test result taken within 2 days prior to sailing. Pre-arrival testing must be completed by an authorized provider at your own expense.
Guests who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may present a Certificate of Recovery and proof of the positive PCR test result taken between 11-90 days prior to the sail date in order to board. In addition, a vaccination card must also be presented. We will not accept a Certificate of Recovery in place of a vaccination record.
Additionally, please be aware that some ports of call do not accept a Certificate of Recovery for the purposes of debarking and enjoying the destination. If applicable to your itinerary, you will be advised of the latest requirements leading up to departure.
No debark testing required.
Re-Entry (to home country)
Most countries no longer require a re-entry test. Should you need a test to re-enter your country of residence, please visit the Guest Relations desk onboard the ship.
Pre-Cruise Test Kit Resources for U.S. and UK Guests
Celebrity Cruises has worked with its trusted vendors to make options for procuring supervised test kits available to you. Supervised self-tests are also readily available in most drugstores and pharmacies.
Concierge Testing Service
We are also pleased to offer a concierge testing option, in partnership with Bio-reference. Bio-reference will send a qualified medical technician to your home, office, hotel, or any place you choose, to perform the test. Your results will be ready in about 48 hours. Currently, face masks are optional onboard Celebrity ships for all guests, regardless of vaccination status. Celebrity Cruises follows the requirements in all jurisdictions we sail, and please note that mask requirements may vary by the destinations visited on your sailing and/or disembarkation port. This policy is continually re-evaluated, and any updates will be shared with guests.
Guests who do not meet the testing and health screening policy requirements will be denied boarding.
