Laksa, a spicy noodle soup, is popular in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore. Laksa is made with thick noodles or rice simmered in a fragrant broth of coconut milk, curry paste, lemongrass, lime, and cilantro, with shrimp, chicken, or tofu (or sometimes all three) added.
