Last month, we introduced Points Choice, giving you more freedom in how you grow your status. Since launch, members have shared great questions, and we’re excited to answer the most common ones right here. Consider this your quick guide to getting the most out of Points Choice.
ALL ABOUT POINTS CHOICE
How does it work?
You can submit a Points Choice request anytime before your sailing or up to 14 days after your cruise. This allows you to apply your earned points to the loyalty program you choose: Captain’s Club, Crown & Anchor, or the Venetian Society.
How do I submit my request?
You can access a request form through the Celebrity Cruises app or on our website. You must be enrolled in the program you’re applying points to.
How are points earned?
You’ll continue earning points the same way you do today—based on your stateroom category and nights sailed. If you want to keep your points with the brand you sailed on, no action is needed. If you choose to move your points to another brand, the exchange rates are listed below.
If you submit an eligible Points Choice transfer request, it will be completed within 30 days after your cruise.

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT
It only took one incredible sailing with us for Bob and Robyn Cooper to find their at-sea home away from home. It all started in February 2014, when they booked their very first Celebrity cruise—a 14-night journey from Sydney to Auckland, sailing through Melbourne and Hobart. By the time the voyage returned in January 2015, they were part of the family.
That first sailing left such a lasting impression that Celebrity soon became their cruise line of choice, which they quickly used to earn their Elite Plus Captain’s Club status. It wasn’t just the destinations that made the difference. “It was the experience, the service, and the feeling of being truly cared for at sea,” Robyn told us.
Now fully retired, both bring with them remarkable life stories shaped by decades of service. Robyn served 18 years in the Australian Army, and Bob an extraordinary 48 years in the Air Force. Together, they’ve raised five children and delight in time with their 11 grandchildren. Professionally, Robyn built a career as a nurse and business owner, training others in HR computer systems. Since retirement, she has remained deeply engaged through volunteer work and has recently qualified as a Marriage Celebrant.
Though both were born in Melbourne and have lived in many locations around Australia, Canberra has been home for more than 30 years. It was from there that one of their most unforgettable Celebrity moments was quietly (and lovingly) planned.
Ahead of that inaugural New Zealand cruise aboard Celebrity Solstice, Robyn arranged a surprise renewal of vows, organizing every detail online without her husband’s knowledge. Traveling with their eldest daughter and her family, she suggested they dress up for formal family photos. Instead, they were all surprised when they arrived to applause from the captain and senior officers. The ceremony was heartfelt and beautifully delivered. Their suite was decorated by the cabin attendants as part of the celebration, and the ship’s photographers created a formal wedding album to preserve the moment.
More than a decade later, their love was celebrated again. On Valentine’s Day 2025, they renewed their vows during a mass vow-renewal ceremony aboard Celebrity Edge, joining 350 couples somewhere between New Zealand and Fiji. The ceremony was led by Captain Matt and served as a joyful reminder that some moments are worth reliving.
Looking ahead, their horizons remain wide open. With seven future Celebrity sailings already booked, the next adventure begins with a 16-night transpacific voyage from Sydney to Fiji and on to Hawaii, followed by a 9-night sailing to Vancouver aboard Celebrity Solstice. The journey will also include a reunion with their friends Bubba and Kathy, whom they first met on a 45-night voyage from Rome to Australia.
For the Coopers, Celebrity hasn’t just been a way to see the world. It’s been the setting for lifelong memories, lasting friendships, and a love story that continues to unfold at sea. Thank you, Bob and Robyn. We’re truly honored to have members like you.
