kebbeh
Kebbeh, the national dish of Syria, is a patty or ball of bulgur (cracked wheat), formed and stuffed with minced onion, finely ground beef, lamb, goat, or camel, and Middle Eastern spices. Kebbeh is then deep-fried, baked, or simmered in broth and often served in a pita.
