In this video, Celebrity Cruises President and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Head Chef Cornelius Gallagher, and Michelin-starred chef Brian Abel discuss the innovations in dining on the new Celebrity Apex vs. Edge, its big sister.
On Celebrity Apex, you’ll see the same exquisite ship design and structure as Celebrity Edge. Expanded menus at Raw on 5 and the Magic Carpet, for example, are designed to bring about more variety and an enhanced meal experience each time you dine.
Le Petit Chef on Apex is another dining venue where you’ll see a fun, new 3-D digital experience different from what you would see on Edge, bringing a fresh and whimsical approach to dinner. Watch as your tiny chef digitally delivers elements of your dinner to your plate, then be amazed as your server delivers your beautifully plated dinner.
One of the differences on Apex is the introduction of Craft Social, a venue all about craft cocktails, wines on tap, rare beers, and shared experiences.
Celebrity Edge’s transformational Eden experience is being updated on Apex to be a pre- or post-theatre dining venue with a flavor-forward focus.
The main dining options on Apex, first introduced on Edge, pay homage to some of our beloved Solstice-class restaurants and our seafaring roots. Tuscan Grille, Normandie, Cosmopolitan, and Cyprus will each have their signature dishes updated and refreshed.
And last, but by no means least, we’re excited to introduce an expanded partnership on Apex with Chef Daniel Boulud, who serves as our Global Culinary Brand Ambassador and creator of signature dishes at The Retreat’s exclusive Luminae restaurant. Guests sailing on Apex will be able to sample Chef Boulud’s award-winning culinary mastery with a special Chef’s Table menu.
