Their wedding was canceled, but that didn’t stop these Celebrity crew members from getting married on board.
Celebrity Cruises crew members Rajiv and Venita had originally planned to get married back at home. But when recent events led to the cancellation of their celebration, they chose to tie the knot on board Celebrity Edge instead.
As family and friends from all around the world joined in on their wedding via Zoom, Celebrity Edge crew members took care of all the details, preparing decorations and a cake that matched the one the couple had originally envisioned for their big day.
After walking down the aisle with her father (also a Celebrity Cruises crew member), Venita and Rajiv said “I do” in an extra special ceremony officiated by Captain Kate McCue, who enlisted her cat Bug Naked as the ring bearer.
