#1: Celebrity Edge Was Designed Entirely in 3-D
Celebrity Edge is the first-ever ship to be designed three-dimensionally, from the very initial sketches and beyond. Our designers labored over every detail and point of comfort and relaxation before building even began.
The Retreat
Venues like The Retreat® Sundeck, with a spacious pool and hot tub, the adults-only* pool The Solarium, and every square inch of our cutting-edge Spa experience were meticulously chosen and designed.

#2: Home to 1,467 Staterooms
In addition to new stateroom classes on Edge, accommodations have been completely enhanced. Edge has 1,467 staterooms across 14 spacious decks.
Iconic Suite Master Bathroom
Staterooms have been expertly designed with larger bathrooms and even more storage for your makeup case or shaving kit, plus a roomier shower.
Every standard-sized stateroom is fitted with a plush, king-sized cashmere mattresses part of the exclusive Celebrity Cashmere Bedding Collection. They’re hypoallergenic and treated with eucalyptus for the ultimate feeling of luxury.
#3: Introducing the Infinite Veranda
The Infinite Veranda is one of the latest advancements in cruise technology and experiences.
These revolutionary rooms take the standard veranda stateroom and blur the boundaries between outside and in, turning your entire living area into the veranda. There are 918 Infinite Veranda Staterooms on Edge.

Single Stateroom with Infinite Veranda
With the new Single Stateroom with Infinite Veranda SM, there is a new way to travel alone and still enjoy a luxury vacation featuring top-quality amenities, world-class restaurants, and exciting excursions.
There are 16 Single Staterooms available on Edge.
#5: The First-Ever “Magic Carpet”

More than merely a decorative flourish, the Magic Carpet on Edge is a marvel of engineering. This unique space acts as an extension of the ship’s venues and restaurants, transforming at different decks.
One of the Celebrity Edge facts to know about the Magic Carpet is that it’s roughly the size of a tennis court, measuring nearly 2,000 square feet.
The Magic Carpet floats along 13 stories, where expansive glass windows promise incredible ocean views, whether you’re dining on Deck 5 or relaxing and drinking poolside on Deck 14.
On Deck 2, Magic Carpet becomes more utilitarian, turning into a luxury embarkation station on the days you’re exploring in port.
If you’re looking to celebrate your anniversary or mark a special occasion, a select number of guests can experience intimate “Dinner on the Edge” on Deck 16, which takes you to the apex of the ship for fine dining al-fresco.

#6: Every Stateroom is Smarter
You should expect a certain standard of care when you vacation so that you can fully recharge, spend quality time with loved ones and family, and not have to worry about any of the details.
Sky Suite
With the automated staterooms on Edge, you can control many functions of your stateroom with the touch of a button. Use your phone to unlock the door with keyless entry. Dim the lights or prepare for bed with your phone from the Celebrity app. Adjust the window shades automatically for an afternoon nap.

#7: An Entire Art Museum at Sea

Art lovers will be amazed by this Celebrity Edge fact: Over 4,000 pieces of art decorate the ship from bow to stern. Admire experimental takes on classic pieces, or walk through a mirrored hall of sculptures on the way to grab drinks at Eden. Modern and funky installations, crystalline figures, and glittering chandeliers add to the decadence on every single deck.

#8: Edge Leads the Way in Gender Equality
From the top leadership to the crew, Celebrity is committed to gender equality on Edge and across our entire fleet.
In fact, 30% of the Edge crew are women, which far outpaces other cruise lines and ships. You’ll find Captain Kate McCue at the helm of Celebrity Edge, making her one of the leading female captains in the cruise industry.
#9: Her Godmother is a Nobel Laureate
When we inaugurated Celebrity Edge into our fleet at the end of 2018, we partnered with the incredible Nobel Laureate and U.N. Messenger of Peace Malala Yousafzai, whose efforts in furthering safe education for girls around the world through the Malala Fund made her the perfect Godmother of our ship.
At merely 19 years old when she received the Nobel Laureate, Malala champions the values and commitments Celebrity stands for. Find her photo proudly displayed near the Shore Excursion and Guest Relations desks on Deck 3.
