What if you could take your favorite part of an all-inclusive resort (the unlimited, included drinks, right?) and combine it with the modern luxury of a Celebrity Cruises ship while sailing to exotic destinations all around the world?

With Celebrity Cruises’ perks promotion, you can! Book an oceanview stateroom or higher category accommodation and you get to pick a free perk (depending on the promotion, you might get other perks and bonuses, too; see Celebrity Cruises’ latest cruise deals). For the next few weeks we’ll talk about the benefits of the different perks you can choose from: Classic Beverage Package, Unlimited Wi-Fi Package, Prepaid Tips, or $150 to Spend On Board.

Today we are going to share with you more about the Classic Beverage Package perk and why this perk in particular is so popular with cruisers. Then read on to find out some of the cool beverages onboard Celebrity Cruises.

The Classic Beverage Package is offered on the majority of Celebrity Cruises’ sailings. You may have heard that cruising usually doesn’t include many beverages in the price of your cruise. This is true, and to help you plan a budget before you leave and then stay in that budget, Celebrity Cruises offers beverage packages. The Classic Beverage Package is $55 per day and the Premium Beverage Package is $65 per day.

But guess what? If you choose the Free Beverage Package as your perk, you get the Classic Beverage Package included in the cost of your cruise.

For a 7-night cruise that’s a savings of $385 and maybe even more if you opted not to get the beverage package and ended up spending more than its daily rate for drinks. It happens!

So what comes with this super-saving drink package?

During the duration of your cruise, these onboard beverages are included:

  • An assortment of wine, beer, and liquor (Drinks up to $9 per serving)

  • Fresh and bottled juices
  • Premium coffees and teas
  • Non-premium bottled water

  • Soda
  • 15% off bottles of wine

If you stay in a suite, you get all four perks PLUS the Classic Beverage Package is upgraded to a Premium Beverage Package. With that package you get:

  • Assortment of high-end wine, premium liquor, and craft beer (Drinks up to $13 per serving)

  • Fresh and bottled juices

  • Premium coffees and teas

  • Premium bottled water

  • Vitamin Water

  • Redbull
  • Soda
  • 20% off bottles of wine

You can order these drinks from any bar on board or in any of the specialty restaurants or Main Dining Room.

Here are some of the bars and lounges you may find yourself wanting to frequent during your cruise:

Martini Bar & Crush
This bar is located next to the Main Dining Room and is a perfect spot for a pre- or après-dinner drink. It has a cosmopolitan vibe (which makes it an ideal place for a cosmopolitan) and fun touches like an icy bar top and mood lighting. The bartenders also make this the cool place to hang out since they can whip up a variety of cocktails and even do some impressive pours in multiple cups at once.

Martini Bar & Crush is a great place to meet up with some of the other cruise passengers you’ve met on board or to make new friends.

Michael’s Club
This is an exclusive lounge for guests staying in Suite Class accommodations. Michael’s Club’s décor is sumptuously classic and it has a large collection of spirits available for cocktails or to enjoy neat. Michael’s Club also has an assortment of craft beers from around the world to try. There are also pre-dinner tapas served daily.

A bonus aspect of Michael’s Club is that it has a concierge desk located right in the lounge so while you’re enjoying drinks and fun conversation with like-minded travelers you can take a quick break to get activity inspiration for your next day in port and even book a shore excursion, or make a reservation to dine in a specialty restaurant after you get back from your shore excursion.

Cellar Masters
This upscale bar has comfortable seating and a focus on fine wine. It features an excellent wine list with over 400 wines available to try. Sommeliers are on hand to help you choose a vintage you’ll love and teach you more about the wine you’re drinking.

When you need to cool down after lounging by the pool, head to Slush, an aptly named walk-up bar that is located on the pool deck. This bar serves up slushy frozen cocktails that are handmade and created with fresh ingredients. It’s the perfect drink to sip as you get into full vacation mode.

Open Air Bars, Cabanas, and the Magic Carpet
If you like some sunshine with your drinks, head to one of the many outdoor areas on the ship where you can order a drink and enjoy it al fresco.

On Solstice-class ships, you can head to the bar adjacent to the Lawn Club and get a refreshing drink. There are also cabanas you can rent in the Alcoves where you can get food and drink delivered while you relax grass-side and enjoy the fresh ocean air. Celebrity Cruises’ newest ship, Celebrity Edge, will also have cabanas on its pool deck which face outward and will have incredible views of the sea.

Celebrity Edge has other ways to enjoy the sea breeze while enjoying a tasty drink, including riding the Magic Carpet. This innovative space is cantilevered to the edge of the ship and turns into a happening lounge during certain hours of the day. It’s a memorable place to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail while watching the sunset or the port you just visited drift away into the horizon.

These are just some of the bars and lounges you can frequent while on a Celebrity Cruises sailing.
