We’ve been hard at work developing new health and safety protocols to keep you Healthy at Sea.
We’ve partnered with medical and scientific advisors from our Healthy Sail Panel, our Global Head of Public Health and Chief Medical Officer; and local health and government authorities to guide us in the development of our protocols. These measures include reduced capacities, enhanced cleaning and sanitization and physical distancing.
Celebrity Cruises will be one of the first to offer fully vaccinated sailings, where guests age 18 and over will be vaccinated against COVID-19. And we’re working with local health authorities in our homeport counties to ensure guests meet current inbound travel requirements.
As we return to sailing, your health and safety remains our top priority.
You can find the latest CDC travel advisory on cruising here.
Safe vacations start with prevention. Every guest and crew member will be fully vaccinated. Upon embarkation, every guest 18 years and older will be required to show proof of full vaccination. Prior to boarding, all guests are required to complete a health questionnaire and guests 2 and older will be required to take an antigen test at the terminal prior and prior to debarkation if required for home country re-entry.
Our enhanced cleaning and sanitization protocols set a new standard. Now, with guidance from our Healthy Sail Panel, we’re going further than ever before.
HVAC system continuously supplies and filters 100% fresh, filtered air to all spaces. You can breathe easy knowing the robust system’s layers of protection make the transmission of aerosol particles between spaces extremely low to virtually impossible.
We’re still providing you the premium service and amenities you’ve come to expect from us, just with even more precautions than before like reduced capacity, physical distancing and enhanced cleaning measures.
Your health and safety are our priority. That’s why we’ve made our high-quality onboard medical care stronger than ever, with more doctors and nurses on each ship and state-of-the-art equipment enhancements. And in the event of a suspected case of COVID-19, we’re fully prepared with immediate medical evaluations, rapid testing, and more critical care beds on each ship.
Initially, guests will only be allowed off the ship in all ports on one of our curated shore excursions. These curated experiences will extend the highest health and safety standards. Most experiences are outdoors and guests will be encouraged to stay with their group. Buses will be at reduced capacity and will be sanitized frequently. Small Group Discoveries will be available and for those who would prefer to tour with their family or group, Private Journeys will be available.
