Cruises to the Western Caribbean offer something for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a quick getaway or seven days totally unplugged, we have you covered.

In this video, discover some of the highlights of Western Caribbean cruises onboard Celebrity.

Florida

As the gateway to the Caribbean, cruises depart from Florida ports, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa, with a first stop in the largest of the Florida Keys, Key West. It’s the perfect place to unwind as you watch palm trees sway in the warm sea breeze and tourists and locals riding bikes along Duval Street.

Tour Ernest Hemingway’s home and see the six-toed cats that roam the property. Take a selfie at the buoy marking the southernmost point in the United States. Go parasailing over the ocean or comb the beach for seashells. Enjoy fresh-caught fish like grouper, mahi-mahi, and snapper, and try a refreshing key lime pie on a stick.

Mexico

In Cozumel, lounge on white-sand beaches or explore ancient Mayan ruins at Tulum. Book a shore excursion for an authentic Mexican cooking class, or snorkel or dive at El Cielo or Playa Palancar, two of the best local beaches. In the cruise port area of San Miguel, you’ll find plenty of interesting shops, bars, and restaurants.

Costa Maya’s clear blue waters are perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving, as it is home to the world’s second-largest coral reef. Discover vibrantly colored fish and many colors of coral on shore excursions offering scuba and snorkeling trips to different locations.

Explore ruins at nearby Chacchoben, take a hike through the jungle forest, or simply enjoy the beautiful sea, sky, and sand from a swinging hammock at Mahahual Beach.

Grand Cayman

As the largest of the Cayman Islands, Grand Cayman offers much to see and do, or you can simply relax on the popular Seven Mile Beach and enjoy the sand, sun, and surf.

Seven Mile Beach also offers family adventures with marine animals, like swimming with gentle stingrays at Stingray City, their natural habitat. At Cayman Turtle Center, you can swim with sea turtles and enjoy the center’s other attractions, including a butterfly garden and bird sanctuary.

George Town is a happy, bustling town with plenty of duty-free shopping, art galleries, a museum, and a farmers market.
