Singapore City Stay
The Far East meets the Near Future.
Join us a few days early and get an up-close-and-personal introduction to the Lion City in modern luxury style.
We'll greet you at the airport and take you to the Hilton Singapore, your luxurious oasis for the next three nights.
Singapore's diverse locals (world-famous for their friendliness) come from a blend of Asian heritages, but English is universally spoken and is one of the country's official languages, so you can explore with confidence. If you need some pointers on where to make your first stop, visit your Celebrity Cruises Hospitality Desk in your hotel lobby anytime.
It's said that Singapore's national pastime is dining, so let your inner foodie rejoice. Get ready to tickle your taste buds the first night on the town. Chinese food takes on a life of its own in Singapore—adapting traditional flavors to the unique herbs and vegetables, cooking techniques, and pan-Asian influences of the Malay Peninsula. For a classic taste of Singapore, make sure to try Hainanese chicken rice or chilli crab (who are we kidding? Try both). Ready for a legendary night on the town? Moored Chinese junks repurposed into chic pubs and restaurants line the waterfront of Clarke Quay, just one of many happening districts that offer an evening of dinner, drinks, and dancing.
After complimentary breakfast at your hotel, start your full-day tour of the Lion City. A local expert will guide you as you take in the vibrant blossoms of the National Orchid Garden at the Singapore Botanical Gardens. Venture down the narrow streets of Chinatown, lined with lively marketplaces where you'll find Chinese medicine shops, tea houses, acupuncturists, and calligraphers.
History buffs rejoice! After we treat you to lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Peranakan Museum. Browse its superb galleries and interactive exhibits and discover the rich heritage of the Peranakan people—the descendants of Chinese immigrants who came to Singapore between the 15th and 17th centuries. Leaving colonial Singapore, you'll end your tour with visits to Little India and the Muslim quarter, where you'll find Hindu artifacts, colorful bangles, elegant silks, fragrant perfumes, and much more.
It's your night. You can hit the town for a night of excitement. Or stay in and pamper yourself right from the Hilton Singapore. Stop at the spa for a soothing pressure point massage or indulgent essential oil therapy. Take in the Singapore sunset with a refreshing cocktail in hand on the 24th floor Sky Bar. Or for a sinfully scrumptious avant-garde meal, grab a table at Iggy's on the third floor of your hotel (trust us, you won't want to skip this one—it's consistently rated one of the 50 best restaurants in the world).
After breakfast in your hotel, you'll have the morning free to start your last full day in Singapore at your own pace. There are endless options, but you don't have to go far for an amazing experience. Your hotel is right on Orchard Road, with over a mile of trendy boutiques, shops, and gourmet eateries.
Set off on a half-day tour. A local expert will guide you through the city, starting with sweeping panoramic views of Marina Bay atop the Singapore Flyer. Stop at the Victorian-era Telok Ayer Market (also known as Lau Pa Sat). Stroll through the market and enjoy local delicacies like handmade pork noodles, fire-grilled satay, and Kachang Puteh (tasty Malaysian-style spiced roasted nuts and beans).
We'll treat you to a dinner at the New Clifford Pier Restaurant—a local favorite. Your tour ends at Gardens by The Bay, where you'll be surrounded by a convergence of dancing lights and tropical rainforest-inspired music at the "Garden Rhapsody" show. Then, return to your hotel to kick back and recharge, or spend one last night celebrating under the stars. The choice is yours.
