Innovative and Luxurious Staterooms on Celebrity Edge
Now onto the staterooms, and the veranda stateroom in particular. When you picture a veranda stateroom on a cruise ship, you probably imagine a heavy glass door leading to a nondescript balcony. On the Celebrity Edge, think light in both senses of the word when it comes to the verandas on board thanks to the Infinite Veranda.
The Infinite Veranda has floor to ceiling glass windows looking out over the water. With a push of a button the glass slides away, opening up your stateroom to the outdoors. That’s right – there’s no heavy door to mess with. This state of the art technology helps to blend the division of indoor and outdoor spaces on the cruise ship, a theme that permeates throughout Celebrity Edge.
If you’re looking for a stateroom with more outdoor space, Celebrity Edge also has you covered with its Sunset Veranda Staterooms located on the stern of the ship, which have the largest veranda of all the Edge Class staterooms at 89 square feet.
As for the Inside and Outside category of staterooms, they may not have an infinite veranda, but they do have the same modern luxury style. Leading designer Kelly Hoppen has expertly planned the décor of the staterooms. The rooms feature soothing grays and ivories, with pops of royal purple and luxe bedding and pillows.
One more thing to know about the staterooms and suites on Celebrity Edge – 99% of the accommodations on Celebrity Edge have King-size beds so you won’t need to worry about sacrificing extra space and comfort while you sleep.
The ones that don’t have king-size beds are for travelers who won’t be doing any sharing of bedding – that’s right; the Celebrity Edge has staterooms specifically designed for solo travelers. These are the new Edge Single Staterooms with Infinite Veranda and queen-sized beds. There will be 16 of these sure-to-be-popular staterooms on Celebrity Edge.
In addition, Edge Class ships will have the popular AquaClass staterooms and Concierge Class staterooms. Yes, there is the ideal stateroom or suite for every traveler on Celebrity Edge. Find your perfect one by visiting www.Celebritycruises.com/edge.
