somlói galuska
Somlói galuska, a trifle served at the Hungarian Pavilion during the 1958 Brussels World’s Fair, is made by layering vanilla custard, rum-soaked raisins, and three flavors of sponge cake, vanilla, walnut, and chocolate in a deep bowl. After chilling, somlói galuska is scooped into dishes and topped with chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
