duruka
Duruka is a sugarcane-like plant that’s grown in Viti Levu, the largest of the Fiji islands. Often called Fijian Asparagus, at its core, duruka is edible with a slight sweet, corn-like flavor. Duruka is often sold by the bundle and roasted, cooked with coconut milk, or added to a curry.
