Enjoy the diversity that Curacao has to offer, a combination of history, culture, nature and architecture. You will visit the impressive Hato Caves, home to beautiful limestone formations, the famous Madonna statue and a colony of seldom seen long nose fruit bats.
Heading back to the city center, you will enjoy an interesting tour at the Museum Kura Hulanda. This museum impressively exhibits the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade in a comprehensive manner. Museum Kura Hulanda also exhibits a large collection of traditional artifacts from continental Africa as well as the Afro-Caribbean.
The museum is located in the Kura Hulanda Hotel, a unique hotel where old labor houses have been transformed into 5* hotel rooms.
It is nice to walk around the property for a short while.
From here it is a short walk back to the ship or you can stay in the city center and cross the famous Queen Emma Bridge to the Punda shopping district.
