Lipizzaner Horses, KR24, Koper, Slovenia
OVERVIEW: The Lipizzaner horses' fascinating history is revealed during your tour of the Lipica Stud Farm. HIGHLIGHTS: Enjoy a scenic 45 minute drive through the Karst region of Slovenia to the Lipica Stud Farm which was founded in 1580. After World War II, Lipica established its own classical riding school and has successfully performed with its horses at various worldwide equestrian events. Youll tour the stables and learn about the tradition of breeding and selecting thoroughbred horses. NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1.25 miles (roughly 2 hours) over even and cobblestone surfaces and a few steps.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
