NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approx. 2 miles over uneven and cobblestone surfaces, steep inclines and 200 steps. Depending upon the number of people at the Acropolis, it may be closed for security reasons so some waiting time may be involved. The total amount of driving time involved during this tour is approximately 3.5 hours.
Depart port & proceed to Sagrada Familia (exterior photos) bound for Catalunya Square. Continue on pano drive along Passeig de Gràcia. Reaching Diagonal Avenue, drive to Montserrat, mountain & Benedictine Monastery. Besides visiting Benedictine Abbey Monastery, admire Patroness of Catalonia. Besides monks, students live in Montserrat that form oldest boys' choir. Attend choral concert. Finish visit with lunch before return to ship (1.5-hr drive). Enjoy sunny Sorrento's Lido Beach with an ice cream that's been handcrafted by YOU! Leave the scenic Bay of Naples behind as you make your way towards the Sorrentine Peninsula. Next stop sunny Sorrento. This delightful town has a wonderfully warm climate and breathtaking views. Enjoy a walk through the main centre before you take a lift to the golden sands of Lido Beach. Here you're left to unwind for the next three hours swim, relax on a complimentary sunbed or savour the local cuisine.
