Depart to Sorrento. See the Dolomitic Cliffs towering straight up out of the sea and typical villages. First stop is the fabled town of Sorrento. This town has a wonderful climate and a marvelous view of Naples Bay. Take a stroll around the main square and explore side streets. There are many souvenir shops and local specialties. See first-hand why its delightful climate makes the village a favorite Mediterranean resort. Regroup and proceed to a typical Pizzeria. If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
