Transfer from Dublin port into city to begin walk of approx 1.5 hrs at Merrion Square. You will stroll thru Gardens & pass Government buildings & National Gallery. This takes you to Ely Place & St. Stephen's Green. Continue onto Dawson Street where guide points out Newman House & Department of Foreign Affairs. Pause for photos at Mansion House Tour ends with visit to Irish Pub to enjoy glass of Guinness or soft drink. Note: must walk approx 2 miles over even surfaces with steps. Tour operates in all weather conditions so take appropriate gear. At end of morning tour, may remain in Dublin to shop or return to ship. Should you decide to remain in town, transfer back to ship is at own expense.

Your visit will show examples of Irish artisanship & period furniture. You'll see Great Hall & carved paneling of Oak Room. Part of Portrait Collection can be seen at castle. You'll have time to browse in castle gift shop before continuing tour to Malahide Village. There, make stop at Irish pub to enjoy an Irish coffee. Departing Malahide, you'll drive past Portmarnock, over Hill of Howth with its pano vista of Dublin Bay and on along the coastal drive. Note: must walk approx 200 yds from bus park to entrance of Malahide Castle. Guests must negotiate approx 52 steps in castle. There are no elevators or ramps. Photography is not permitted in Malahide Castle.

Make way to St. James' Gate Brewery, in heart of Dublin & birthplace of World's famous stout. Begin with audio-visual show before setting out with guide who narrates history & story of Guinness. In brewing section, see, hear & smell ingredients as they make way thru series of machines & processes on way to becoming Guinness. Guided tour ends in panoramic bar from where you have views of Dublin while sampling a glass of Guinness. Make your way to ground floor & time permitting; browse in shop. Note: must walk approx 500 yds over various surfaces, inclines & 2 to 3 steps on coach. Center has elevator accessible to reach various floors. Tour order may vary.
