Depart port for tour to town center. Guide points out monuments & landmarks along way. Watch for Santo Domingo Church, Royal Prison & Roman Theatre that overlooks city's Cathedral. Before city center, pass Port of La Caleta, botanical gardens & castle walls. Depart coach at Plaza de Espana for walking tour thru city streets. See Plaza de la Mina & the outside of Cádiz Museum. On Calle Ancha, there is Cathedral where you can step inside for view. Conclude tour at Flamenco Place La Cava to view Spanish dance with tapas & drink before return to shipl. Note: must walk approx 1.5 miles over various surfaces & steps. Have approx 15 mins for shopping. Not suitable for walkers or wheelchairs.

Proceed to Jerez de la Frontera You'll visit wine cellar where time-honored blending process will be explained during guided tour. Afterwards, tasting of 2 types of sherry & fino will be offered. You'll visit a rehearsal of Real Escuela Andaluza de Arte Ecuestre where horses show how to dance to locally composed music. View facilities & admire creatures & their skilled trainers as they perform. Note: must walk approx 1 - 1.5 miles over flat, sandy & cobblestone surfaces with 10 - 15 steps. Camera & video photography are not permitted at Real Escuela Andaluza de Arte Escuestre. Tour order may vary. Have approx 15 mins of free time.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
