Begin at ship, guide escorts to Old Town entrance, pass thru gateway & by Agora & Collachium, where Knights of St. John of Jerusalem lived & worked. Old Town houses churches, marble Knights' coat of arms, Jewish quarter, Inns of Knights, & Palace of Grand Masters. Tour palace interior as guide points out highlights. Continue down Street of Knights, its paths paved with marble & mosaics, past towers & facades. Visit Hospital of Knights, now a museum. Note: must walk approx 2 miles over even, uneven surfaces, inclines & 80+ steps. Guests have approx 30 mins for shopping on Sokrate's Street before going to Marine Gate to return to ship. Important: Please remember you have up to 4 days prior to your sail date to purchase your regular shore excursions online. If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
