The tour starts with a drive through Laugardalur, the City's main recreational and sports area. We pass the Olympic sized, open-air swimming pool filled with geothermal water and open all year around. We then head to the open-air museum of Arbaer where old houses from Reykjavik and other parts of the country have been relocated. From Arbaer museum we drive past modern housing developments to The Pearl, a vantage point built on the hot-water storage tanks in the outdoor area in Oskjuhlid. From The Pearl we head to the National Museum.The last stop before returning to the pier will be made at Hallgrimskirkja church.
