HIGHLIGHTS: Explore one of the world's most amazing archaeological wonders at Pompeii. NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1.5 miles over cobblestone and rocky streets. There is a steep incline at the entrance with 20 - 25 steps. Pompeii is not wheelchair accessible.

The Ruins of Herculaneum, NP06, Naples, Italy
OVERVIEW: This guided walking tour explores the unusually well-preserved city of Herculaneum, also a victim of the fiery temper of Mt. Vesuvius, which was accidentally discovered in 1709. HIGHLIGHTS: Unlike the ash and lava that devastated Pompeii, Herculaneum was covered by a torrent of mud, which protected the ruins from atmospheric agents and illegal excavators.
