After a short transfer from the port area, begin your panoramic city overview passing by the Baroque-style Royal Palace in Dam Square, the Nieuwe Kerk or New Church? the Mint Tower (built in 1618 over a medieval gate, a place where coins were minted), the central railway station and the 15th century Weepers' tower enroute to the diamond factory. During your guided visit at Gassan diamonds you will see diamond polishers at work. You'll have some extra free time to use a complimentary coffee, tea or soft drink or stroll around in the gift shop or delft blue pottery shop.

Your tour will start, after a short transfer by coach to the city center, at the historical Jewish Museum, which, steeped in history is located in the heart of Amsterdams former Jewish quarter, close to the Opera House, the Town Hall and the 17th-century Portuguese Synagogue. The Museum is housed in the former four Ashkenazi synagogues. Your guided tour will continue with a walk through the historic Jewish area along the Hollandsche Schouwburg (theater), which is now a monument in memory of the 104,000 Jews who did not return to Amsterdam after World War II.
