OVERVIEW: Experience Berlin from all sides. Take in the sights and sounds of the capital on a scenic bus and boat ride. HIGHLIGHTS: From the coach, see the Brandenburg Gate, Gendarmenmarkt, Charlottenburg Palace, East Side Gallery, the Tiergarten Park, and the Victory Column and visit the Berlin Wall Documentation Center. From the boat, see Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral and the Government Quarter. You'll delight in lunch at a local restaurant and also have free time to explore Kurfürstendamm. A light snack will be provided on the train ride to and from Berlin. NOTES: The train ride between Warnemunde and Berlin is approx. 3 hours each way. Guests must be able to walk approx. 0.65 mile.

The Duke's Castle Schwerin, WA15, Berlin (Warnemunde), Germany
Start with 90-min coach ride to Schwerin. On arrival, board boat for lake cruise (approx 45 mins). See Schwerins skyline & disembark in front of Schwerin Castle. During 45-min guided tour, see throne room, library & other rooms. Afterwards, enjoy lunch. Continue with Choo-Choo-Train to see other Schwerin sights. Pass by Town Hall, Cathedral, Parliament, old market & Pfaffenteichdistrict. Ride concludes near downtown where have free time to shop before return to Rostock where you'll see main sights by coach before return to ship. Note: must walk approx 1.5 miles over cobblestone streets, inclines & 30-50 steps. Have approx 45 mins for shopping. Drive to/from Schwerin is approx 90 min.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
