Blue Grotto Boat Trip & Marsaxlokk, VT14, Valletta, Malta
Depart quayside & go thru Maltese villages towards south side of island Blue Grotto. View natural rock structures of Wied iz Zurrieq. Time for photos. Proceed down hill to begin boat trip to caves & coral formation under sea. After boat trip, free time give before going by coach to Marsaxlokk fishing village where you'll have time for shopping. Return to ship. Note: must walk approx 600 yds over very uneven surfaces at cliffs many steps to reach boat boarding area. Exact itinerary & cave viewing dependent upon wind & weather conditions. Have approx 45 mins for shopping. Walking in Marsaxlokk is at guests' discretion. Drive to/from port is approx 45 min.

Three Cities & Harbor Cruise, VT03, Valletta, Malta
Depart quayside for Marsaxlokk for free time (approx 30 mins) to explore village, before drive to Three Cities. Drive to Senglea to see city. Embark coach & drive via Cospicua to Vittoriosa for exterior view of buildings including Auberges of Knights - Hospital, Armoury, Treasury, various palaces, Fort St. Angelo & St. Lawrence Church. At Vittoriosa quay, board vessel for boat trip around Valletta harbor. At end of harbor cruise, vessel will debark guests directly at Pinto Wharf. Note: must walk approx 0.5 mile over cobblestone & uneven streets with 40 - 55 steps. Due to berthing restrictions, the harbor cruise might start from Sliema Ferries. Cruise is weather dependent & may be cancelled

Important: Please remember you have up to 4 days prior to your sail date to purchase your regular shore excursions online. If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
