Touring by 4X4 vehicle allows you to explore areas of Malta, not visited by tourists and some beautiful parts of Maltese countryside. Join 4X4 tour where safari leader/driver points out locations & landscapes during drive. All vehicles are brought to Pinto Wharf where you'll depart & proceed to northern part of Malta. Continue on Mellieha, drive past Red Tower towards Anchor Bay & Golden Sands for possible swim stop. Proceed with drive to Mgarr and Fomm ir-Rih with photo stop at Dingli Cliffs. Depart to Dingli where you will receive introduction to the Segway. Once the orientation has concluded, explore Dingli Village & move towards Buskett. A track towards Buskett ends this portion of tour & ensures all turning & maneuvering skills have been mastered before a short break. The second half of tour is where you'll have the chance to increase speed & see how it handles hills & slopes. Explore the park. Continue & set off for Dingli Cliffs. Enjoy views of Filfla until next stop at the Magdalene Chapel were you'll have a short break for photos & refreshments. Return to base & pier in your minibus. Swimming with Dolphins, VT05, Valletta, Malta
Before entering water, you are briefed by trainers about dolphin behavior & biology & basic guidelines of program. You will view brief dolphin presentation where you are introduced to some dolphins' behavior. Participants are divided into groups of 12 before entering aquatic domain. Proceed with approx 30-min swim program that includes touching dolphins in their environment. Refreshments & free time follow. You might have chance to enjoy 30-min show (parrot, sea lion, or dolphin) before return to ship. Note: must be 8 yrs of age & min of 4 feet tall to participate. Pregnant women are not permitted. Not for guests confined to wheelchairs. Participants required to complete/sign waiver.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
