Windsor Castle has belonged continuously to the sovereigns for over 900 years. The Castle dominates the town. The delicate flying buttresses of St. George's Chapel give a relief from the rugged solidity of the Round Tower and Royal Apartments. Excellent views of Eton, Runnymede and the countryside can be obtained from the castle walls. After guided tour of Castle, you have free time to browse the shops along the town's High Street. Or, you may care to stroll down to one of Windsor's great attractions, the River Thames which is lively with boats, while the swans glide lazily up and down. Continue the short distance to Heathrow Airport for check-in.

Stonehenge, the mighty symbol of pre-history is a wonder of the world drawing visitors to witness its majesty and mystery. Upon arrival, walk through the short tunnel onto the field site. Actual stones are fenced off for their preservation and protection. Your guide will accompany you along the encircling pathway for close up views and will describe what has been concluded from observations and archaeological evidence. Afterwards, reboard coach for trip to Heathrow Airport. Note: Guests must walk approx 500 yards over flat surfaces, 5 - 15 steps. After tour concludes, board coaches bound for Heathrow Airport for check-in and your return flight. Meals are not included.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
