Historical Walk with Svalbard Museum, UF13, Longyearbyen,Norway
Your guide will pick you up at the pier and you will start your guided walk in Longyearbyen. Longyearbyen is situated between high mountains in the Advent Valley. We will stop for a visit at Svalbard Museum, where you will learn about the history of the archipelago and you will understand the relationship between nature, culture, landscape and environment in the Arctic. After the visit you will continue your walk. Your guide will tell you about the local flora and fauna and maybe if you are lucky, you will be able to spot some reindeers in the city center! Return to the pier on foot.

Sightseeing with Husky Farm, UF14, Longyearbyen,Norway
The tour starts from the pier in Longyearbyen. You will drive to the center of the village and then to the beautiful Advent Valley, where you will admire the arctic landscape. Then the coach will stop at the northernmost church in the world, Svalbard Church, which has the mission to serve everyone visiting the island, independent of their nationality or Church affiliation. This Church is always open and you will have a short guided visit.

Important: Please remember you have up to 4 days prior to your sail date to purchase your regular shore excursions online. If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
