Trip entails sailing from ferry terminal towards Bay of Gibraltar to see dolphins. If no dolphins are seen in bay area, boat will proceed to Straits to view them. On return, sail down western face of Gibraltar for tour by sea, where guides give info as sail along before arriving back at dock to take coach for return trip. Note: Must walk approx 50m over paved surfaces, steps in/out of boat. Sunscreen, camera/binoculars are recommended. Tour travels in open waters. Guests susceptible to seasickness should take precautions before boarding. Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Weather conditions can be cool, windy so plan accordingly. Travel north across Gibraltar's runway to see border between colony & Spain. Proceed to Catalan Bay & enjoy panoramas over Spain & North Africa. Travel along outskirts of Town, passing American War Memorial & Trafalgar Cemetery to arrive at Europa Point. Admire sights along coast of North Africa. Continue on to Rock Hotel where you are served selection of tapas. Guests wishing to shop are given option of being dropped in town, while others are taken back to ship. Note: Walking is minimal over flat surfaces. Must take 2-3 steps to enter bus. Tour order may vary. No shopping stops made on tour.
Depart quayside, travel north across Gibraltar's airport runway to border between colony & Spain. As you drive by, you will view this remarkable border and the Spanish mainland beyond. Proceed along the outskirts of town, passing the American War Memorial and The Trafalgar Cemetery to arrive at Europa Point. From there, admire views of North Africa coast located 12 miles across Straits of Gibraltar. Arrive at Caleta Hotel for views to Spain and North Africa. Take in scenery as you enjoy tea with selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Return to pier. Note: Walking is limited over flat surfaces. Tour sequence may vary. There are no shopping stops.

Pass Cross of Sacrifice as departing pier. Travel to border of Spanish Frontier and cross airfield for view of the Rock. Visit St. Michael's Cave with time to explore on your own. At Apes' Den, home of Barbary Apes, see unique creatures. Photo stop at Europa Point, where you see lighthouse. Before returning to ship, pass Moorish Castle while descending Willis Road. Returning to town, have option to return to ship or stay in town and make own way back to ship. Note: Must walk approx 300 yards over even surfaces, inclines, 90+ steps. Drive towards Europa Point. From here, the African continent is often visible. Proceed to the cable car station. Walk around the terraces & be introduced to the geography of this British colony. Refreshments or ice cream is available during your approx. 45-min stay. Browse the souvenir shop or stroll around the former anti-craft battery site. Regroup with guide & stride to St. Michael's Cave. Apes spring to mind when one mentions the Rock of Gibraltar. As you view the apes, be watchful. A drive through the old town will take you to Gibraltar Museum. Your tour ends, choice of exiting in town center or returning to the ship are completely yours. Take in amazing panoramic views on a cable-car ride to the peak, where you'll then explore unusual formations and acoustics in St. Michael's Cave.
