Arcos sits on ridgeline above cliff, Pena Nueva, overlooking Guadelete River & valley. Opposite side of ridge, Pena Vieja, overlooks Lago de Arcos. Town centre sits at highest point, with streets of whitewashed homes cascading down ridgeline. Proceed on foot. Guide points out village venues: Plaza Cabildo, Old Castillo (fort) & Church of San Pedro. Inside San Pedro, admire altar, Vhapel of Baptism & Santa Barbara chapel. Once finished, proceed to Parador de Arcos. Enjoy drink before return to Cadiz. Note: must walk approx 1.55 miles over uneven & cobblestone surfaces, inclines & steps. Not recommended for guests with walking difficulties or wheelchairs. Conservative dress suggested.

Tour will proceed towards Barbate de la Frontera Village to the most emblematic activities of the strait of Gibraltar, La Almadraba. Enjoy explanation at the Almadraba Tuna Interpretation Center & listen & view an exhibition of Red Tuna. After the center visit, proceed to the Barbate's port to board a small boat to follow the "Atlantic Route." The route takes you to Conil de la Frontera, a typical Spanish fishing village. Enjoy some free time (approx. 30 mins) to explore city on own before return drive to ship. Jutting from Bay of Cadiz & surrounded by water, Cadiz claims to be Europe's oldest city. Legend names Hercules as its founder, although history credits Phoenicians. Guide will walk with you thru old town. Tour takes you to highlights that are difficult to find on your own, city street grid was designed to confuse pirates. You'll see Plaza de Espana, Town Hall, Plaza de San Juan de Dios, Cathedral & rampart walls of city. Free time is given. Note: Guests walk approx 2.5 miles (4km) over even surfaces with 15 - 25 steps. Not recommended for walkers or wheelchairs. Shorts or bare shoulders are not permitted in Cathedral. Please dress conservatively.

Tour proceeds through the old city & bay area. Guide will point out highlights such as Santo Domingo Church, Old Royal Prison, Roman Theatre, etc. Take the old road to Jerez de La Frontera. Proceed with short walking tour through city centre & see exteriors of Alcazar, Cathedral & Plaza Arenal before stopping at the cellars. At the cellars, follow explanations of the process of wine making. Guests will enjoy a sherry tasting with light snacks before the coach heads back to the ship. You'll drive to Jerez de la Frontera to visit wine cellar where process for sherry wines is explained during guided tour. Afterward, tasting of types of sherry is offered. Reboard coach & proceed to entrance of Royal Andalusia School of Equestrian Arts. There best horses learn to dance to music. View facilities & admire horses & trainers as they perform routine training exercises & program during rehearsal.
