Begin with 35-mile drive on coastline east of Málaga. Enroute guide familiarizes you with area, Nerja town, and caves. Inside are stalagmites and stalactites, including 105-ft (32 m) high central column in Cataclysm Chamber. Following a staircase, arrive at Hall of Nativity, Proceed up steps into the Hall of Tusk, before taking stairs leading to vantagepoint above highest part of Hall of Cascade. Departing caves, see Roman Aqueduct as you leave Nerja for journey back to Málaga. Note: Must walk 1 mile over uneven, narrow cobblestone surfaces, uphill grades and 100+ steps. Actual viewing time in caves is about 45 mins. Caves are not wheelchair accessible.
OVERVIEW: Discover Granada, one of the most beautiful cities in Spain with approximately 3 hours to spend as you wish and at your pace.
HIGHLIGHTS: The coach will leave Malaga for the 2 hour drive to Granada via the highway. Once in the city center, you are free to spend approximately 3 hours as you wish and at your pace. The escort will inform you where and when to meet for the return drive to Malaga.

During drive thru Málaga, pass numerous structures of Mudejar & Gothic architecture, lovely parks & gardens, city's bullring, as well as birthplace of Pablo Picasso. Málaga's Cathedral was built over two centuries on site of former main mosque. Known locally as La Manquita as only west tower was ever completed. Note: must walk approx 1 mile (approx. 1.5 hrs) over mostly even dirt & cobblestone surfaces with 50 - 75 steps. Please dress conservatively.
Depart from the pier on a panoramic tour through the city, passing the main highlights of the city center. Admire the beautiful architecture of the Alcazaba Palace, a historic castle built in the 11th century. During the coach tour, you will admire the ruins of the former Roman Theatre lying at the foot of the Alcazaba Fortress in the western part of the city. HIGHLIGHTS: Stroll the narrow streets and sqaures of Marbella's Old Town on a guided walking tour of the area captured from the Moors in 1485 by Queen Isabel of Spain. And visit the jet-set port of Puerto Banus and browse the fine boutiques, shops and cafés during free time.
NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 mile (approximately 1 hour) over even and cobblestone surfaces with 15 to 20 steep steps in Marbella.
OVERVIEW: Take a tour of Málaga and discover its rich history, archaeological remains and fascinating monuments.
HIGHLIGHTS: You'll see the exteriors of the Alcazaba Palace, Gibralfaro Castle, the Cathedral, the former Roman Theater, and the facade of the bullring. And a brief stop will be made in Plaza de la Merced to see and take pictures of Picasso's birth house. Time permitting, you will have approximately 30 minutes for shopping and browsing during the tour.
