Timanfaya is one of the thirteen national parks in Spain. The lack of wildlife creates an apparent silence that is almost palpable and which makes the advent of a volcanic eruption difficult to imagine; but the truth is that the land is still bubbling beneath the surface and you will be amazed at the craters and experiments shown, of the still active volcanoes. You will have the chance to take part on the Volcano Tour where you will be impressed by the rustic nature as well as by the recorded explanations you will hear along the tour.
