Paddling in Vigo, VG25, Vigo, Spain
Tour is for everyone in safe, stable one or two-seater open boats. You'll use double paddles, sit with legs stretched out front. Arrive at launch site, receive safety gear & paddling instructions. Head out with guide. Note: Kids must be 12 years old, comfortable in boat, in the water. Guests must walk approx 0.5 mile, paddle for approx 5 miles (approx. 1.5 hrs) and know they may get wet. Sport shoes, loose clothing over swimwear & towel suggested. There are inherent risks involved in boating. Other venues viewed include Church of Pilgrim, Herreria Square, San Francisco Church, "La Lena" Square (national monument) and several other corners. Continue tour with visit to Combarro before return to ship. Note: Guests must walk approx 2 miles (approx 2.5 hrs) over even, cobblestone streets with steps. Walking distance coach parking to city center is approx 10 mins each way. Drive from Vigo/Pontevedra is approx 0.5 hr & return from Combarro/Vigo is approx 0.5 hr, depending on traffic.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
