You'll begin your day with a one and a half hour bus journey from Marmaris to Dalyan. A river boat awaits you to cruise you down the bulrush lined delta, passing the Lycian rock tombs in the hillside on the way to Caunos. Little is left of the sleepy fishing village that Marmaris was just a few decades ago. Marmaris still retains its charm due to its exceptional location between two intersecting set of mountains by the sea. Join a walking tour of downtown Marmaris plus explore the local castle and museum. It is thought that the first castle in Marmaris was built by the Ionians and it is known that Marmaris was invaded by Alexander the Great in 334 BC. You will also have the chance to visit the town mosque while in downtown. At the conclusion of your visit, you will have time to explore the downtown on your own. After exploring the town, you can make your way back to the vessel within walking distance.

Swim in Antiquity Cleopatras Island, QM02, Marmaris, Turkey
Enjoy a trip to Sedir Island or better known as Cleopatra Island. Your day will begin with a scenic drive from Marmaris followed by a relaxing boat trip. Once you arrive to the island, you will first visit the remaining of ancient Kedrai. Legend says the special white sand of Cleopatra Island was carried from Egypt to the island as a token of Antony's love for Cleopatra. Geologist have found the sand to be fossilized plankton; each grain is a perfect sphere. For this reason the site is heavily protected by the government to prevent any sand from being removed from the beach. This is one of the rare beach spots in Turkey you can find white silky sand and crystal clear aqua marine water.
