OVERVIEW: This tour includes a guided walk through the city of Betanzos as well as scenic drive along the coast and a photo stop at the Tower of Hercules. HIGHLIGHTS: Enjoy a guided walking tour of Betanzos where you will see the exteriors of Santa Maria and San Francisco Churches, the Gothic 14th century churches. From the coach, you'll see the Riazor and Orzán beaches and the San Anton Castle and stop for a photo opportunity of Hercules Tower, the oldest Roman lighthouse. NOTES: Guest must be able to walk approximately 1 mile and this tour is not suggested for guests with walking difficulties or using a wheelchair. San Francisco church is only open in the morning.

OVERVIEW: Designed for guests who prefer a leisurely visit to La Coruña, this tour includes a narrated city drive through some of the most impressive and famous monuments as well as a guided walking tour. HIGHLIGHTS: Discover La Coruña on a guided walking tour. Join the coach and stop for a photo opportunity of the Hercules Tower, the oldest Roman lighthouse. Sights seen from the coach include the Riazor and Orzán beaches, Domus, Aquarium Finisterrae, San Antón Castle, and Mendez Nuñez Gardens. You'll also stop at Porto Cobo Hotel and delight in empanadas and Spanish omelets. NOTES: Guest must be able to walk approximately 1 mile.

Santiago de Compostela Half Day, LN08, La Coruna, Spain
OVERVIEW: Discover the small town of Santiago and explore its impressive cathedral and the Plaza del Obradoiro. HIGHLIGHTS: Enjoy an inside visit of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela and see the Portico de la Gloria as well as the urn that contains the ashes of Saint James. Enjoy a guided walking tour through Plaza del Obradoiro, the real heart of the town and approx. 45 minutes of free time. The drive between La Coruña and Santiago de Compostela is approx. 1.5 hours each way. Videography and photography are not permitted inside the cathedral.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
