You will start the tour with a short transfer from the pier through the city centre and Posebyen to the entrance of Baneheia Park approximately 3 km. Posebyen consists of 10 blocks in the old part of the city and is the largest, low, continues wooden houses in Northern Europe. Baneheia is Kristiansand's recreational area. Most of the area is a lovely and green forest. Your guide will take you on a hike along idyllic paths and small lakes to the Ravnedalen Scenic Park.

Starting from the quayside on foot you will first pass Kilden, the new performing art centre on the way to Odderøya. The island has a very interesting military history having once been a naval base, and remnants of the ramparts, a gunpowder store, an old quarantine hospital and other 18th century buildings can still be seen.

Board your vessel at the pier for the approximately 1 3/4-hour narrated cruise to the small port of Korsvik. Your cruise travels along the Blindleia Passage, a sheltered inner fare protected from the open sea. This area abounds in rare minerals, and the new Setesdal Mineral Park offers a unique collection of minerals and crystal. Copper and nickel has been extracted from the Flåt Mines since 1844, as well as mining of quartz, feldspar and rare minerals. The exhibition area comprises five halls inside the mountain with a total area of 1,000 square meters, containing fabulous minerals and crystals from all over the world. The inner caverns show off magnificent shapes and colorsany preconceived notions about stone will need to be reconsidered after this visit!
