HIGHLIGHTS: Enjoy approx. 3.15 hours at Perivolos Beach to relax under the sun and/or swim. Water sports, sun beds and umbrellas are available at the beach for an extra cost and are not part of the tour package. NOTES: Perivolos beach is a family beach and nude sunbathing is not permitted. The Akrotiri Excavations, SO03, Santorini, Greece
OVERVIEW: Santorini is the southernmost island of the Cyclades. Its most characteristic features are the sheer cliffs, formed following a tremendous volcanic eruption occurring around 1450 BC. Visit the excavations started in 1930 by Professor Marinatos, who in 1967 unearthed a complete Bronze Age town buried within the pumice of the volcanic eruption of 1450 BC. HIGHLIGHTS: Walk through Akrotiri's Bronze Age excavations site and medieval settlement. Explore the charming hilltop village of Fira on your own before taking the cable car down to your tender. Volcano Hiking & Swimming in Hot Springs Tour, SO02, Santorini, Greece
OVERVIEW: Santorini is one of the most beautiful islands in the world and this tour is an opportunity to experience its volcanic elements. HIGHLIGHTS: Take a boat to the island Nea Kameni and hike to the rim of the volcano to enjoy the spectacular views. Return to the boat and sail to the island of Palea Kameni where you can swim in the warm thermal waters. Upon return to Santorini, you can ride the cable car up to the town of Fira for a panoramic view of Santorini, and independent shopping and exploration. NOTES: Guests must be able to walk approximately 1 mile uphill over loose gravel paths on the volcano island. There are certain inherent risks involved in any swimming excursion.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
