Briksdalen Glacier - OL01 -
Olden, Norway
Drive through the quaint village of Olden and along the Olden River, well known for its salmon fishing. Continue along the shores of Olden Lake, situated between steep mountain sides to the end of the road. Upon arrival at the Briksdal Mountain Lodge, disembark the coach and continue uphill on foot along a walking path, toward the Briksdal Glacier, an arm of the mighty Jostedals Glacier. Cross a wooden bridge over a waterfall to reach a beautiful mountain valley and continue until you reach the face of the Briksdal Glacier. There will be time for photos and to enjoy the wonderful views and natural setting. At the lodge, coffee or tea and cakes will be served.
Cruise on Lake Loen - OL02 -
Olden, Norway
For approx. 1 hour, your coach will travel the winding roads through the wild Kjenndal Valley, before reaching your destination, Kjenndalen. A 15-minute walk will take you closer to the glacier. The coach will take you to the charming little restaurant situated at the lake. In peaceful surroundings with a beautiful view of the lake, taste waffles and coffee before starting your journey on Lake Loen. Journey down a section of the 9-mile arm of the lake under mountains covered by glacier arms and ancient mountains scarred rockslides. Seeing the landscape from the boat gives you quite a different impression. On the opposite side of the lake, your coach is waiting to take you back to Olden.
Cruise on Lake Olden - OL08 -
Olden, Norway
The coach will take you from the pier in Olden to the starting point of the boat trip. Here the modern and well equipped vessel Olden is ready to take you on a relaxing and interesting trip. You will journey down the emerald green lake framed by ancient mountains. From the lounge or the sundeck you can admire a number of glacier arms, glittering like jewels down the sides of the valley. Seeing the landscape from the boat gives you quite a different impression. At the pier on the opposite side of the lake, your coach is waiting to take you back to Olden and your waiting vessel.
Fjaerland & the Norwegian Glacier Center - OL03 -
Olden, Norway
Depart from Olden on a 58-mile journey south en route to Fjaerland. The last 4 miles of the trip will be through a tunnel built under the Jostedals Glacier. Until the completion of the road in 1986, the town of Fjaerland was without any road connections. North of Fjaerland is the Norwegian Glacier Center. Visit at the Boeyabree Glacier, one of the mighty arms of the Jostedalen Glacier Plateau, before continuing to Skei Hotel for lunch. After the meal you will have time for a stroll through the small village. On the return drive to Olden you will stop at the Mt Utvik.
Scenic Drive To Aabrekk Farm - OL15 -

This excursion offers a taste of Norwegian agriculture, nature, and local culture. The fertile soil in Olden supports many fine old farms in the lower and upper valley. The trip takes you through scenic Olden Valley to the farm of Aabrekk, situated in wonderful surroundings, at the foot of the Brenndal Glacier. Here you will learn about the farm and the production of traditional homemade food. Tasting of local samples such as bread from the stone oven, brown goat cheese and traditional Norwegian pancake variations will be offered along with coffee and tea. Have a stroll around the farm and a closer look at the farm animals.
