These famous twin waterfalls are only 30 minutes drive from the city of Roseau, after your visit to Morne Bruce and the Botanical Park. A pleasant 15 minutes hike takes you through the rainforest to the viewing platform where you will embrace spectacular views of the falls. After your refreshments at Mountain View, you will proceed to the Emerald Pool which is located in the Morne Trois Pitons National Park. Hike these falls and enjoy a swim at the base of this lush green setting.

Travel easterly along the winding mountain road to the tranquil little village of Trafalgar to view The Trafalgar Falls. Proceed to the Wotton Waven Sulphur Springs. Witness these springs, when active come alive in a spectacular bubbling motion spewing volcanic hot water in the air. You drive to Chez Ophelia for refreshments and convenience before visiting the Botanical Gardens, adorned with exotic flora. Visit Morne Bruce (picture stop). Morne Bruce is an ideal vantage point from which to get a panoramic view of the entire town of Roseau and the Botanical Gardens. You then drive back to the ship.
To find the marine mammals, the crew listens through a hydrophone for clicking of sperm whales feeding, and whistles of dolphins. You are most likely to see mothers and baby whales as Dominica is a calving area for the sperm whales and you have a 90% chance of seeing whales or dolphins, but there are no guarantees!
