This tour is designed for food lovers with a flair and passion for cooking who also want to enjoy an authentic cultural experience. Renowned local chef Jorge Escandon, featured on the popular international t.v travel & cuisine program "No Reservations" hosted by Anthony Bourdain, awaits to take you on a unique culinary and cultural journey. Your chef will demonstrate and elaborate the how to's in making the plates that you will later sample. Cooking demonstration sampling and lunch will be enjoyed after the presentation. Note: Participants with specific allergies must advise 48 hrs in advance.

Important: Please remember you have up to 4 days prior to your sail date to purchase your regular shore excursions online. If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour. For example, if you are sailing on October 18, you can make Shore & Land Excursion purchases online until October 13.
