Calling all adventure seekers! Join this excursion that combines two very popular activities in Dominica canopy challenge and river tubing. You sweat, and then you get wet. Encounter games such as Alcatraz and the Tarzan then hop on a tube for a journey down stream. The minimum height for guests on the adults course is 56 inches and there is a children's course to accommodate smaller children. Guests with high blood pressure, heart problems, afraid of heights, back, neck, shoulder injuries, pregnant or had recent surgery should not participate.

Take this opportunity to combine two secluded waterfalls with a swim in the Caribbean Sea. A short fifteen-minute walk through the rainforest will take you to the Twin Falls where you can take a dip in the waterfall pools. From here you continue to Mero Beach where you can relax or take a swim. Before you board the vehicle a refreshing rum punch or fruit juice will be served. Depending on ones physical abilities, the activity level may range from moderate to strenuous if you participate in the optional hike to the second waterfall.

You depart the port and proceed to Morne Bruce (picture stop) before visiting the Botanical Gardens. You then travel in a westerly direction before entering Canefield Estate and then proceed to the Emerald Pool. The Emerald Pool is fed by a cascade which plunges off the edge of a fern-covered cliff. The hike to the Emerald Pool takes about 15 minutes.

If you are within the 4 days, you will then need to purchase your shore excursions onboard; land excursions would need to be purchased directly through your Tour Director on the land portion of the Alaska Cruisetour.
